The Rochester Alternative Baseball Inclusion Series is a series of games taking place at fields and stadiums in the Finger Lakes region featuring RABI players playing alongside members of the community in a fun baseball scrimmage to promote inclusion in the sport of baseball regardless of ability. We play on regulation baseball fields using the same rules you see in the major leagues including wooden bats. The only difference is we use the Markwort Kenko ProA 9.0 Baseball (official baseball of Japanese rubber-ball baseball) which performs well (see the 10NBC video on our homepage for some coverage of it being used). For all of these games, admission is free, sponsors are desired (and will be recognized), and donations are appreciated. Most importantly please come out to cheer on the athletes and spread the word as we want more people who might benefit from our program to become aware of it.
If you are interested in participating in an upcoming Inclusion Series game, hosting a game at a local venue, or providing financial sponsorship, please fill out the form at https://forms.gle/XT8RnrkNEmJBMFaC9 and we will be in contact with you shortly. We are holding 2 games in 2024, and will evaluate expanding in 2025 pending sponsor and venue interest. If you are interested in providing sponsorship, please see our sponsors page for more details.
