Brian O'Keefe (2026)

Founder and President

Brian is the founder of RABI and currently has an extensive role in all operations. Brian grew up most of his life knowing he was different but not knowing exactly why until he was diagnosed as autistic in his early 40s. Brian was a 3 sport varsity athlete in high school, including baseball, and coached his two children in baseball throughout their youth.  He also serves as the head coach of the current RABI team.

Rich Short (2027)

Director, Sponsor Coordinator

Rich Short joined the RABI board in January of 2024.  His daughter played with the team and loved it in 2023.  Rich fell in love with the concept and wanted to help out.

Rich has lived in Ogden since 2000, currently with his wife and adult son.  He has worked in banking and credit for 36 years. He has working at the same credit union for 21 years overseeing the lending and call center operations. He also served a few years on his church’s finance council. 

Seth Greenman (2027)

Director

Seth has dedicated his entire professional career to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), including autism and other neurological differences. His extensive background includes over a decade at Heritage Christian Services in various capacities, including direct support, residential management, self-direction services, and independent living. Currently, he is a consultant for the New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation, where he serves as a statewide project lead and co-directs the NY Housing Resource Center.

He brings to the board valuable project management skills and an extensive network of professional relationships with organizations across the region and state. Seth will leverage his experience to help advance RABI's mission and outreach efforts.

Nicole Yare (2026)

Nicole Yare serves on the Board of Directors for Rochester Alternative Baseball. Her passion for RABI was sparked on the field after she joined a game as a community player. She was immediately drawn to the wonderful community of athletes and was inspired to become more involved. Her commitment is also a family affair, as she is dedicated to supporting the organization founded by her brother-in-law, Brian O'Keefe, and championing her nephew who plays on the team.

With over 21 years of experience as an educator, Nicole brings a deep understanding of the individuals RABI serves. For the last five years, she has co-taught in a classroom with a Special Education teacher, focusing on neurodivergent children and students with various mental or physical disabilities.

Nicole brings the natural planning, management, and organizational skills of a seasoned teacher to the board. She is eager to use her experience and community contacts to help with event planning, social media exposure, and outreach to grow the program.
